Fund accounting jobs are key within
investment management. It is a finance-focused function
and is attractive to newly qualified accountants as
it provides an excellent level of product exposure.
Fund accounting jobs involve keeping track of fund movements
and their performance and analysing specific products
within the funds.
Newly qualified accountants will
be required to use their analysis and interpretation
of the figures to make recommendations on product and
fund performance to the senior business managers.

A new and exciting opportunity
has arisen with this leading private equity firm. You
will be responsible for the accounting and internal
and external reporting for two private equity funds,
maintain cash books and perform monthly bank reconciliations
and prepare interim and annual financial statements
for investors. You will also prepare statutory accounts
and liaise with auditors and prepare regular and ad
hoc schedules for investors. This role will appeal to
you if you are looking for a role which provides exposure
to all aspects of the finance function. You MUST be
a qualified accountant who is currently working within
finance. Previous private equity or investment management
experience would be a distinct advantage but is not
essential. Financial Services experience is a must!
